Mantis Cranes has recently become the first crane company to be awarded Safe-T-Cert accreditation.  The Safe-T-Cert programme takes account of best practice guidelines of companies in the area of construction and is recognised by relevant bodies both in Northern Ireland and the Republic.

In order to achieve recognition companies must go through a detailed auditing process whose criteria is set by an advisory panel of judges from professional bodies within the industry.

Martin Mooney, Health and Safety executive for Mantis stated, “Concern for health and safety, of our own employees, our customers and the general public is always to the forefront of everything we do. Over the years we have invested in developing safe systems of work and have implemented excellent safety management practices. Receiving this recognition demonstrates company commitment to the management of Health and safety systems”.

Through the Safe-T-Cert programme clients can be assured that contractors have in place an effective safety and health management system.
